Join us on May 30th to learn how to transform plastic shopping bags into yarn and get an intro to crochet.
With artist Irma Gualpa's guidance, you will learn how to upcycle plastic bags into resilient yarn and get an introduction to crochet. Giving you the tools to further transform the bags into functional objects like coasters, beach pillows, and even totes!
This is the first of a series of sustainable workshops hosted by the YahYah collective. Through which, the artist will share their skills in upcycling, meending, crafting with natural materials, and alternative photographic processes. Stay tuned for more!
