Join us for a Plant Walk and Medicine Making with Shana Lipner Grover from Sage Country Herbs (North County San Diego’s primary field based herbal medicine school)!!
Shana is the primary educator of field-based studies, herbal medicine, and ethical wildcrafting at Sage Country Herbs School of Botanical Studies. Shana will lead us in an exploration of our local ecologies and the native and naturalized plants around Moosa Creek Nursery. We will discuss food and medicinal uses as well as potentially toxic look-a-likes. This is no typical plant walk, Shana will teach us how to use our botanical eyes to see plants in different ways and feel more confident in our identification. We will create connections with our ecosystems and ways to remember the plants like they are old friends.
We will deepen our experience with ethics and integrity as we harvest and make medicine together.
Everyone will leave with valuable information, a topical herbal medicine, and a deeper connection to the plants and ecosystems around you.
Exclusive 20% off native plant sale for all participants!
