Sunday, April 14, 2024, 1:00-3:30pm; Sunday, May 12, 1:00-3:30pm; Sunday, June 16, 1:00-3:30pm
Learn to identify wild plants. In this series of 3 classes, we will explore Oaks Bottom to learn what plants are growing in this natural area. You will learn not only what traits to look for to identify each plant, but also dive deeper into botany terminology, edibility, plant growth habits and habitats, as well as the role of various plants in the restoration work that has been done in the park.
As spring progresses, different plants and flowers will be visible, so each class will be a unique experience.
