Get ready to dive into tracking plant codes like a pro and make your data work smarter, not harder.
Plant codes are identification numbers on food packaging that indicate the exact facility a product was processed at. They are used by factory farm researchers to uncover supply chains across California’s factory farms, such as which dairies supply to specific brands or chain restaurants.Join us for a plant code tracking event where we will be going in groups to source as many plant codes as we can from local grocery stores and restaurants. We will meet at Berkeley Animal Rights Center for a briefing before dispersing into groups.WHERE: Berkeley Animal Rights Center West (2414 6th St, Berkeley)WHEN: Saturday June 27th, 1-3PM
---Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) is a grassroots network of animal rights activists. We ask that all those who attend our events (online and offline) respect our Code of Conduct which can be reviewed at dxe.io/conduct.
