<DIV>In anticipation of an upcoming Napa County Planning Commissioner opening for District 5, we would like to elicit input from our community as we begin the process of selecting a new Commissioner. Members of the Commission are selected by Supervisorial District and as District 5 Supervisor I have the opportunity to nominate an applicant for the Board to approve.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>For background, the Planning Commission makes decisions and/or recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on a wide range of land use proposals and entitlements, including Use Permits, Subdivisions, and Parcel Maps. Knowing the importance of this role, I ask that you join me on February 3rd (details below) to share your input with me on what qualities, attributes, and experience you value in a Planning Commissioner. In addition, I would also like to know what questions you think should be asked as I conduct interviews with potential candidates.</DIV>
