About this event

  • 1 hour

Look through a microscope live on zoom. See into a drop of water drawn from the edge of Lake Merritt Lagoon. We will explore the microscopic plankton, the living aquatic drifters of the world, seeking out both the plant-like phytoplankton, and microscopic animals called zooplankton.

Artist/naturalist J. Southworth will lead us through a fascinating window into this tiny world. Join the microscopical exploration of Lake Merritt in an atmosphere of discovery, fellowship, and wonder.
