PLAI Date

PLAI Date

Overview

Get Inspired: Here's your opportunity to learn (and share!) how people are using AI to better themselves, their businesses, and their impact

PLAI Date: People Learning AI, together

A monthly space for shared learning, exploration, and support!

PLAI Date is a monthly, come-as-you-are gathering hosted by Impact Hub Houston for everyone who enjoys connecting, sharing best practices, and learning in community.

Each month, we'll have a guest speaker to present how they're using AI to better themselves, their business, and/or their impact. You are also invited share what you're working on, what questions you're sitting with, and what you're noticing as our work and lives evolve.

Think of this less as a workshop and more as a community date: an intentional pause to explore possibilities, discover new things, and learn with and from one another.

What to Expect

  • Light facilitation with plenty of room for practice
  • People sharing works (and thoughts) in progress, and insights from their explorations
  • A responsive format, shared and shaped by the group
  • A relaxed pace that values presence, curiosity, and mutual support

What We're Learning

  • January - Building a Custom AI Agent to support business needs - hosted by Ellis Hubbard
  • February - Let's learn about Mighty Networks - hosted by Tracie Jae
  • March - TBD

Want to Present at an upcoming PLAI Date?

We welcome your expertise! If there’s a tool you enjoy, a way you like to work, or a practice that’s been useful to you and you’d like to share it with others, this might be a great fit. We simply ask that you share what you're trying and how it's helping you, then learn alongside the group.

If you’re curious about presenting at a future PLAI Date, let us know in the form when you register for this event, or reach out to the Impact Hub Houston team.

How We’ll Gather

In alignment with Impact Hub Houston’s community agreements, we’ll:

  • Ask questions to understand
  • Listen generously
  • Share with care and respect
  • Honor experimentation without pressure

Bring your curiosity.
Bring your questions.
Bring your whole self!
