PK Presents: Distracted Service
ADHD is more than just being quirky. While hard to admit, ADHD is a disability. It hinders one's ability to stay organized at work, remember information, and get projects started let alone finished on time. If ADHD can affect one's work and school it absolutely can and will affect one's ability to provide service.
In this class Magic goes over the mechanisms and symptoms of ADHD and executive dysfunction, methods of service management, and tips and tricks for both dominants and submissives.
Presenters' Bio:
Magic (it/they) is a queer, neurodivergent, and disabled property slave and budding Deity that began their kink & leather journey nearly a decade ago. Their journey has led them to not only learn from their elders but to help those around them learn. In their quest to become a better educator Magic is currently pursuing their Master of Arts in Museum and Exhibition Studies at University of Illinois at Chicago. Their areas of interest in their program are leather history, decolonization, accessibility, queer theory, alternative learning spaces, and community care.
Its interest and passion for leather history made its way into Magics studies with their senior thesis and continues on in their capstone project. It is currently initiating an oral history project focusing on the effects of the AIDS epidemic on the leather community, intra-community care, and leather communities contributions to AIDS/HIV activism. Magic hopes to continue this project after the completion of their degree.
Outside of their studies Magic finds joy in service and edge play. They enjoy not only lighting your cigars but being the ashtray! It is currently learning and improving upon its skills as a bootblack, domestic slave, and service pup. They are also exploring a complex dynamic with their Master and worshiper, DietyinBloom.
Other than their studies and service, Magic finds joy in crafting, painting, reading, writing, coffee, and tiktok.
