Do I need to have the commercial version of TouchDesigner?

Accepted Answer

No the free version of TouchDesigner is fine.  Everything we do in the WorkShop will be doable on the free license, just go to https://www.derivative.ca to download the software and register for your free "Non-Commercial" key.

Question 2

Will this work with a Mac?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The latest versions of TouchDesigner are compatible with MacOS and everything we do in the workshop is doable from a Mac Laptop or computer.  I would recommend bringing an Ethernet Adapter to be able to plug your Mac into a wired network to be able to control the LEDs we have on-site.

Question 3

Is there free parking nearby?

Accepted Answer

When you register, you will get detailed instructions on how to get to the studio and where is best to park.  The Brewery Arts Complex is a large campus and you may end up having to park a short walk away from our door, but generally there are spots available for all who come.

Question 4

Will there be food provided?

Accepted Answer

We will have free water, coffee, and tea available on-site, but unfortunately can not provide lunch as part of the cost of the workshop.  While there is a brew-pub on-site, it is not open on Sunday, so you should bring a packed lunch or prepare to order delivery.
