From new indie games to variable fonts, pixel letterforms are having their renaissance moment. As artists and designers, we can’t help but be attracted to their minimal, blocky aesthetics. If you’ve ever wanted to try making pixel letters, we have a free in-person public workshop coming up in Brooklyn!Join us on Friday, March 10th from 6-8 PM at <a href="https://principlesbk.nyc/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Principles GI Coffee House</a> in Brooklyn to learn about pixel type and have fun making your own pixel letterforms. We’ll start the event with short presentations on the history and significance of these modular patterns across time and space, which will set the stage for drawing your own pixel letterforms and joining in the fun of making pixel art. No supplies are necessary, bring your pixel-loving friends and come hang out with us on Friday night in Brooklyn at <a href="https://principlesbk.nyc/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Principles GI Coffee House</a> to get your pixel creativity flowing!R﻿SVP is encouraged but not required.
