The Pivot Program brings various city and state departments together to help businesses succeed. Through a free 2-hour workshop, we help existing and prospective entrepreneurs with:

  • Obtaining a license or permit
  • Keeping licenses current & in good standing
  • Resolving a licensing problem
  • Better understanding rules & regulations
  • Learning best practices
  • Connecting with city & community resources

Space is limited; please register no more than three representatives from the same business.This is the first of four workshops that will be held throughout Milwaukee in 2024.

Is this event free to attend?

Yes! The workshop is provided for free. We ask that individual businesses do not reserve more than three spots in any given workshop.

What topics will the workshop cover?

The workshop includes presentations from several city and state agencies, including the departments of Health, Neighborhood Services, City Development, Police, and the Wisconsin State Department of Revenue.
