Ferment Pittsburgh is a project created to influence the growth of fermentation culture in our area. We offer classes, put on the annual Pittsburgh Fermentation Festival, and do activities to promote a better connection with harmoniously natural living. Join us for the inaugural Pittsburgh County Fair: an urban agricultural celebration of handmade, homegrown, fermented and fun! (Inaugural because Pgh isn&#x27;t a county, but County Fair this is!)
Featuring workshops, hands-on demonstrations from locally farmed materials like indigo dying and sorghum pressing, local food and makers, beer from Grist House Brewing, contests, live music, and more. FREE!
Bring your best tomato to enter into the free Best Tomato in Pittsburgh Contest. Prizes awarded. Also share the stories of your plants and seeds.
