Pitch Practice

Pitch Practice is a free, open, weekly meetup for entrepreneurs in Atlanta to literally practice delivering a 30-second, 3 minute, or 5+ minute investor pitch. The goals are to pitch, learn, and network.

Everyone needs to sharpen their spiel. Join us for Pitch Practice every 1st and 3rd Friday to practice and get feedback from peers.

About the Facilitators

About Melissa Heffner: 

Melissa Heffner is Program Director for Georgia Tech's VentureLab and Co-Director of the Institute's CREATE-X Female Founders program. As an adjunct instructor for the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps program and a lead instructor for Georgia Tech's I-Corps South Node, she has taught the lean methodology to over 400 startup teams. In 2020, Melissa co-developed and co-founded the Female Founders program to provide a space for women-led entrepreneurial teams to explore a first business model, engage with an all-female coaching team, interact with successful female entrepreneurs, and receive non-dilutive funding.

About Chris Moreno: 

Chris has been nicknamed "Mr. PropTech" and is an investor, advisor, and speaker focused on the Built World including PropTech, Logistics, Automation, Enterprise, Operations, & Sustainability in Multifamily, and Real Estate. Chris provides advisory and fractional leadership work with Funds, Founders & CEOs to help them with strategy, coaching, process implementation, and business growth.
