A tropical themed social event and fundraiser with the Great Pyrs & Paws dog rescue! Adorn yourself and your 4-legged friends in your best and flashiest tropical flair and sashay over to Gorges Beer on SE Ankeny (Rainbow Road). Enjoy cold beverages, try your luck at winning some awesome local raffle prizes, and pet adoptable dogs. Volunteers will also be on site to answer any questions about adopting and/or volunteering. We'll also have a pet photo booth set up! A Saturday afternoon doesn't get any better than that!

Can I bring my dog to this event?

Yes, please do, and dress them up in tropical flair! Don't have any tropical flair? The dollar store can solve that problem, lots of fun flair to purchase, for cheap!

Is this a kid friendly event?

Yes, and dress them up in tropical flair as well! We like kids, and kids like dogs!

Does Gorges Beer Company have good beer?

They have great beer!! One of our favorites!

What raffle prizes can I win?

Raffle tickets can be purchased at $2 per ticket or 3 for $5. Currently prizes have been donated by the following paw-some local businesses: Laurelhurst theater, Meat For Cats and Dogs, Pets on Broadway, Happy Tails Pet Center, PowWow4BowWow, The Filling Station Pet Supplies, and Bull Run Pizza!
