Pints for Empowerment

The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit social enterprise providing employment, support, and training opportunities for people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities. The Lighthouse has provided employment and support to people who are blind in our community since 1918.Our philosophy maintains that each employee be provided with whatever supports are necessary for success in the workplace. Supports include an in-house sign language interpreting department to ensure effective communication for employees who are DeafBlind, staff mobility instructors to teach independent travel with a white cane or dog guide, and over 100 computer workstations adapted for use by individuals who are visually impaired.

Fundraise your glass at Pyramid Alehouse to benefit Lighthouse programs and services on Saturday, Oct. 8th, 2016. Pints for Empowerment is an opportunity to mingle with Lighthouse employees and community while supporting opportunities and empowerment for people who are blind and DeafBlind.
Your $35 ticket will gain you access to this event, automatic entry into door prize drawings, one entrée ticket, and two drink tickets to enjoy amongst your friendly Lighthouse family. Additional drinks will be available for purchase from your server or bartender.

We will have some exciting door prizes for some lucky winners. Thanks to your support, adults who are blind and DeafBlind in our community will have access to jobs and opportunities to gain self-sufficiency. Come find out how you help make this possible. 
Free parking is available in front of and behind the restaurant. Braille and large print menus will be available.
