The Ynot Lot

When we think about wellness, typically our first thoughts are on our physical wellbeing but we also understand that emotional/mental, financial, and spiritual wholeness are included in this conversation. If one is lacking, it can impact our overall health. Our event seeks to bridge this gap! The goal is to bring knowledge and empowerment to the Baltimore/Maryland community through Black-owned organizations and businesses that focus on a broad range of healing and wellness methodologies.About Us- P.I.N.K. 4 The City, an organization focused on addressing the disparities regarding breast cancer and African American women, under the age of 40, through educating and promoting preventative care. P.I.N.K curates community-focused innovative programming through collaboration with breast cancer survivors/thrivers, caregivers/families, community members and medical professionals. Our focus is on women under 40 because this particular demographic is not at the age where they can begin completing breast cancer screenings with their providers and young African American women are being diagnosed with more aggressive subtypes of breast cancer in comparison to white women.
