About this event

“Going Forward: Self Healing and Resilience Building” with Irene Hajisava, LCSW

Description: Trauma, loss, illness and all the ongoing stress during this pandemic can overwhelm us. During this time of COVID, grieving the loss of a loved one becomes more difficult and isolating. Very often, the process that allows for family and community support is minimal or not there at all. This workshop provides a tool to support you through an emotionally difficult time.

We will learn and practice Havening, a revolutionary technique based on neuroscience designed to reduce anxiety, stress and trauma. Developed by two medical scientists the technique allows increased healing from trauma and loss and is used to treat trauma all over the world. It is simple, user friendly and easy to teach to adults and children.

About Irene: Irene Hajisava is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over thirty years experience as a therapist, teacher, trainer and emergency response specialist specializing in trauma and grief. She is a Certified Havening Practitioner and a Certified Havening Trainer.
