Explore the basics of pine needle coiling and weaving while creating a decorative coaster or basket to take home.

This beginner-friendly workshop introduces the history and techniques behind this traditional craft. Those who finish early can try their hand at more advanced projects.

Registration includes instruction and all materials. The admission fee to the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center is waived for workshop attendees. Water and coffee will be available. Participants should bring a sack lunch, and those ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

This event is part of the ND250 commemoration celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.
