Pine Beetle Patrol
Help us protect the pines!
Join a local Pine Beetle Patrol! Learn about pine beetles, meet your community, and protect forests with The Watershed Center.
Come hike through a recently completed forest management project with foresters from The Watershed Center. Learn with us about how Colorado forests have evolved alongside and been shaped by wildfire and mountain pin beetles. Then, learn how to apply a pheromone that mountain pine beetles produce to say "no vacancy in this tree!" You'll help fend off mountain pine beetle from a beautiful forest with very old trees that need your help.
