About this event

  • 2 hours

Join the Prince George’s County Office of Human Rights on Monday, June 3 at 7 pm for the latest in our Interfaith Conversations series, which invites religious leaders from a wide range of faiths to discuss various topics, and how different issues impact, or are impacted by, their faith. This theme for this discussion, held in partnership with Greenbelt Community Church, is “Pilgrimage in Faith.” Panelists will consider what pilgrimage means for and from their faith perspective and whether they have experienced pilgrimage in their own lives. How do we understand the world, ourselves, our faiths, and the experiences of others more deeply or differently through pilgrimage? What does pilgrimage mean for the rest of us, whoever the “rest of us” are?

Frequently asked questions

Where in the church is the event held?

This interfaith conversation will be held in the social hall, which is in the basement of church. Access that by going around the back of the church and down the stairs. There is also an elevator (on the right hand side of the building if facing back of church) for those who need it.

Is this event for anyone or do you have to be a part of a faith community?

This event is definitely for everyone! This is a chance for the public to come out and hear from people with different perspectives, meet new people in the community, and think about ways in which pilgrimage impacts us - even those of us who don't practice a faith.
