<h1>Be sure to check this registration page the day of the workshop to ensure no cancellations due to weather.</h1>DIRECTIONS:Take Hwy 287 north from Fort Collins past Hwy 14, continuing north towards Laramie. At the “Forks” turn west (left) on County Road 74E and go 16 miles to the Boy Scout Road (68C). Turn left and proceed approximately 2.5 miles to the Jack Nicol Cub Scout Camp sign (on your left). Go up the hill to the large parking area. If you get to the gate that says Ben Delatour Scout Ranch, you have gone one gate too far!COVID:All participants will be REQUIRED to wear a mask, maintain a minimum of 6 feet of social distancing during all hands-on activities and teaching exercises, and utilize appropriate sanitizing techniques.ABOUT:This workshop is an outreach to Front Range landowners mitigating catastrophic wildfire threat to property and forest. Please reach out to friends or family in the area looking to learn about pile and slash mitigation. Experienced wildland firefighters will be present - bring your questions about forest management, thinning, pile construction and pile burning. Be sure to bring a mask, warm work clothes/gloves, snacks, and water.Stay tuned for a PILE BURNING workshop!
