The Class

Join the KKRU in 50 full minutes of Pilates, Barre, and Strength. This is a community-based class with the goal of expanding accessibility to health, wellness, and the Pilates practice.

This class is intended for ALL individuals, regardless of previous experience, fitness level, or physical ability. Come out, bring your friends, breathe in the fresh Sunday morning air, and soak up the warm weather! Together, we Keep Reaching Up!

The Instructor & KKRU Founder

Khetanya (or Khe for short) is classically trained in Pilates and has experience teaching Pilates Reformer, Strength and Conditioning, Dance Cardio, Barre, Boot Camp, Resistance Training, and more. Her passion for fitness began during her acting, dancing, and musical career. Her talent in fitness and performing arts led her from NYC to LA, where she taught in various studios and worked with several A-list celebrities.

Khetanya’s ‘KRU’, stands for her motto, Keep Reaching Up, and promotes her goal of empowering personal growth for like-minded and forward-focused individuals.

How much is class and what does it cover?

This class is free and open to the community! KKRU’s mission is to make Pilates more accessible in a world where living a healthy lifestyle is often unaffordable. Our goal is to expand boutique fitness offerings to all individuals, regardless of background, fitness level, or financial means.

How often will we have class?

Once a week, every Sunday.

Where is the class located and how do I get there?

Pilates in the Park is located in Grant Park. The class takes place in the green space above the Atlanta Zoo parking deck. The address is 759 Boulevard SE Atlanta, GA 30315. The green space is on Boulevard SE in between United Ave SE and Ormwood Ave SE.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available on the street (free) or in the Atlanta Zoo Parking Garage. Please be curious of the residents when parking on the street.

Is this class for beginners?

This class is open to all levels. We always offer modifications and progressions for those who want more of a challenge.

Are there modifications for prenatal or postnatal?

Khetanya has ample experience training prenatal and post-natal students, so we welcome you to class and encourage you to ask for modifications.

How many spaces are available?

The green space in Grant Park allows for up to 250 participants.
