Katie Vota is an award-winning bartender and mixologist whose culinary-minded cocktails strike a balance between global flavor inspirations and playfulness in presentation. Katie has spent the last decade honing her craft, working at a range of bars and restaurants including Izakaya Mita, the James Beard Awarded Fat Rice, HaiSous, and is currently lending her talents to Andros Taverna . During this time frame, she earned her Sake 1 Sommelier, and has appeared on panels such as the Rum Reader’s Daiquiri Dossier. Her dedication to spirits, cocktails, and construction of flavor aids in her work as a cocktail consultant, most recently for the Jean Banchet nominated Tesfa. Outside of the bar, you can find her working fervently on her studio art practice and biking in all the weather Chicago can throw at her.Please inquire about allergies or restrictions prior to booking.
