Pull out your favorite pie recipe and whip up a homemade pie for your chance to win some incredible prizes - and, of course, bragging rights! We'll have a panel of judges from the Wellen Park Rotary judging the contest. Please RSVP by acquiring a complimentary ticket.EVENT DETAILS:Categories:<ul><li>Adult category - 18 years old and over (ONE ENTRY PER PERSON)</li><li>Youth category - Under 18 years old (ONE ENTRY PER PERSON)</li></ul>Judging:<ul><li>All pies must be dropped off between 3:00pm-3:30pm on Saturday, June 22, at Solis Hall</li><li>Judging begins at 4pm inside Solis Hall, open to the public</li><li>Bakers must be present to win</li><li>Please do not write your name on your pie tin, your pie will be assigned a number at registration</li><li>The following criteria will be judged on a scale of 1-5: flavor, filling, crust, overall appearance, creativity. Winners will be based on cumulative scores.</li></ul>Prizes:<ul><li>1st Place: $300 Visa Gift Card &amp; an etched wooden spoon</li><li>2nd Place: $200 Visa Gift Card &amp; an etched wooden spoon</li><li>3rd Place: $100 Visa Gift Card &amp; an etched wooden spoon</li></ul>Rules:<ul><li>One entry per person</li><li>Each entry must include one pie</li><li>Entries must be in the name of the person who baked the pie</li><li>Entries must include name and a full typed recipe with a list of ingredients and directions</li><li>Pies must be brought in disposable bakeware</li><li>Special handling, i.e. refrigeration and heating, is not allowed after a pie has been dropped off</li><li>Final pies may not contain raw or uncooked eggs</li><li>Official contest ruling in regards to eligibility will be final</li></ul>Notes:<ul><li>Please RSVP by acquiring a complimentary ticket and then bring one pie to Solis Hall between 3:00pm to 3:30pm on June 22nd</li><li>Judging will begin at 4:00pm with a panel of judges to include the Chef from the Banyan House and the Wellen Park Rotary Club. Bakers must be present to win.</li><li>Winners will be asked to have their photograph taken and a copy of winning recipes may be used in publications</li></ul>GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: No cash alternative or prize substitutions will be allowed, except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of comparable value if a prize listed is unavailable for any reason.
