About this event

The 5.8 acre Indian Valley Organic Farm and Garden (IVOFG) is located on the College of Marin, Indian Valley Campus. It was created to support and sustain local food systems and organic agriculture, to help educate and develop the local agricultural workforce and to provide fresh and healthy food for local residents.

We'll tour the edible demonstration garden, learn planting/harvesting tips, and enjoy their farm stand (produce and plants available for purchase).

$10 ticket price (plus eventbrite fee) includes a plant or some produce to take home. No refunds. All $ will go to the farm. Scholarships available.

There is free parking in Upper Parking Lot 5.

We will gather at 10:45a, start the tour at 11am then have a picnic potluck.

There is great hiking in the area, too.

What to bring:

  • Layers, hats - we will be outside
  • A picnic blanket and chair for the potluck
  • A nutrient-dense dish to share with serving utensils - examples are: salad, raw cheese, liver pate, a fermented food, etc!
  • Your own plate, utensils and beverage
  • A cooler if you'd like to purchase produce, plants, flowers or teas
  • Family and friends. Kids welcome!
