About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Join Trevor, founder and fermentation educator of Community Cultures, to dive into the world of fermented veggies. Ticket includes cheese samples from Chantal's and fermented vegetable samples from Community Cultures. BYOB!

As Spring produce starts to flow out of the garden and local farms, May is the perfect time of year to master your vegetable fermentation process!

In this workshop you'll learn why fermented veggies are the perfect gateway into fermentation and why they're globally and culturally significant. Additionally, you'll learn how to reduce food waste in your kitchen and ferment almost any type of vegetable! Take home a jar of veggies to pickle at home, and walk away with the confidence to safely ferment veggies throughout the year!

No special equipment is required for this workshop. Please email Trevor - trevor at communitycultures.com - if you have any severe allergies, restrictive dietary preferences (aside from the cheese, this class will use all vegan and gluten-free ingredients), or any questions.
