This month: Physical Safety and Security in the Workplace

There are many approaches to physical security including threat and vulnerability risk assessments (TVRA) and crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED) assessments. This presentation will review what to look for in these physical assessments, the benefits and limitations to free walk-throughs by local law enforcement, how often these should occur, what key elements should be covered, and how the physical assessment report should inform the workplace violence prevention plan.
