Photography Fundamentals with John Greengo

The fundamentals of photography are the most important ideas and concepts you will need for success in your photographic journey. In this class, you will learn about each of the important concepts necessary for creating compelling images. You’ll gain a deep understanding of the core concepts applicable to every genre of photography.

• Key components of exposure: shutter speed, aperture, and ISO
• How to set your exposure perfectly for every situation
• How to utilize the various focusing options with your camera
• How to read light and use it to your advantage
• What key accessories can help your photography
• How to compose compelling images

Not just for beginners

This class is a great start for anyone new to photography, but it’s also valuable for those that have been experimenting on their own, or those returning to the world of photography. In this hands-on class you’ll learn how to work your camera and see the world in a new way.

This highly visual learning experience will include example photos, illustrations, animations, and 23-page color handout with important notes from the class. Bring your camera to class as you’ll be learning where important features are and how to use them. This full day class is informative and fun, you’ll walk away ready to capture beautiful images on your own photographic journey.

Since this is an all-day class, there will be a 1-hour break for lunch. Feel free to bring your own lunch or explore a variety of meal options in the South Lake Union area.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Beginners or those who want a refresher!

Students are encouraged to bring applicable camera equipment to the class.

John Greengo specializes in photographic education through online training, books, and international photo tours. His photographic teachings have been viewed by millions around the globe; and his visual aids have proven to be popular and effective. Photography has been a life-long passion for John, starting at the age of 10. This event has limited space, as a result, registration is required for each attendee, if you are planning to bring a guest, please register for them as well.

A minimum of 4 registrations is required for this event to proceed as scheduled. The event may be canceled if ticket minimum sales aren't met.

PRICING, FEES & REFUNDS

In the event of a refund, Eventbrite Fees are not refundable. Eventbrite fees are only refunded if an event is canceled.

We will issue a full refund up to 4 days before the event date; or a 50% refund up to the day of the event, if however, if we are able to fill the spot, we may issue a full refund. No-shows will not be refunded.
