Photographing the Eclipse

JUMP – or Jack’s Urban Meeting Place – is a not-for-profit, interactive creative center and community gathering place in the heart of downtown Boise. JUMP is both a place and thing – a lively fusion of environment, experiences and surprises designed to spark interests and uncover talents you may not even know you have. At JUMP, anyone can explore, learn or tinker in one of the activity studios, collaborate or celebrate in the gathering spaces, or relax in the park or amphitheater – all while enjoying a kaleidoscope of ever-changing programs and activities designed to inspire. Our vision is to let this space cultivate the potential in all of us so that we can live a better shared future.

<H2>This August isn't ordinary as a great galactic event is imminent - The Total Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017. Come learn the what, where/when, and how of photographing this spectacle at JUMP on August 12th from 10am to Noon.</H2>
 
When: Saturday, August 12th from 10am to Noon
Where: JUMP Inspire on the 4th floor, take a right out of the elevators. 
Cost: Free community class
What to Expect: This is an informational class committed to show how to photograph the eclipse. Bringing a camera is not require to attend, but feel free to bring one along if you have questions.

What is JUMP?

JUMP is a dynamic and innovate space that is not suitable for unattended children, please monitor your children and be thoughtful of their safety at all times.
 
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
You may bus, bike, drive, walk, skip, etc. Check Boise's bus schedule at <A HREF="http://www.valleyride.org./" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">www.valleyride.org</A>. We love bikers and have beautiful bike racks to secure your ride. If you plan to drive, paid parking is available in Simplot's below ground parking garage, which is accessible from Myrtle Street between 11th and 9th Street. Please note, Simplot's below ground parking garage is only available after 4pm until 6am on weekdays, and all day on weekends. Apologies, the JUMP parking garage is currently under construction.

Absolutely. We support the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and encourage participation by everyone. What is the refund policy?
We depend on your enrollment for a successful class so please plan your schedule carefully. Classes which do not meet minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation. Refunds are issued in full if the class or program is cancelled, if you cancel at least seven days before the starting date of the class, or for documented medical reasons. Please email <A HREF="mailto:jesse.cordtz@jumpboise.org" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">jesse.cordtz@jumpboise.org</A> to request a refund. 
 
What about cancelled classes?
