About Joe Klocek

Joe Klocek has worked in the photographic industry as a photographer, salesman, and instructor since 2005. In 2017 he founded The F Stops Here so he could focus on making professional quality photography available to every enthusiast. In the pursuit of this goal he has created several products, written seven books, and teaches courses on a variety of topics. In the past few years he has been a guest speaker for photographic societies and travel expositions. He lives in Denver with his wife, son, and unmanageable book collection.

Dodd Camera was founded in 1891 on East 4th Street in Cleveland, Ohio. We were founded as an architecture supply store, stocking a variety of drawing and art supplies. By the early 1900's, Dodd Camera partnered with Eastman Kodak to bring his revolutionary camera to the market. This is where our focus on photography began.

We operate 4 local camera stores throughout Ohio, and opened our fifth location in the great city of Chicago in 2008. Each of these stores provide excellent customer service, friendly and knowledgeable sales staff, as well as classes and events throughout the year.
