PhotoFest: Skateboard Photography Workshop with Charley Voorhis

Join Tamron Image Master Charley Voorhis for an immersive, hands-on skateboard photography session designed to elevate your skills and creativity. This experiential event will teach you the art of composition, timing, and angles to best showcase the dynamic world of skateboarding. The group will meet at the Seattle Center Skate Park at 5th Ave N & Broad St. 1/2 mile walk from Glazer's Camera at 9:30 am. Bring your camera if you want to join in the action while Charley works with the Skateboarder to tee up some great photo opportunities.

ABOUT CHARLEY VOORHIS
As a teenager in the 90's, I was obsessed with filming and photographing skateboarding, snowboarding and BMX.

Today, working in adventure tourism all around the country, I've had countless opportunities to put those skills to use, following and showcasing adventures of all kinds. I especially enjoy participating firsthand and capturing the experience from the inside.

Of the 20+ years I've been capturing photos and making films, shooting action sports and adventures is easily my favorite.

We are excited for our annual PhotoFest full of presentations, workshops, and demonstrations from some of the most talented creative artists in their field, all FREE of charge.

Now in its 15th year, PhotoFest continues to exceed our wildest expectations. The three-day event includes a broad spectrum of on-location shoots, studio settings, photowalks, lectures, and product demonstrations. It gives a larger purpose to reconnect not only to our art, but to each other. Image-making and visual storytelling capture moments that are fleeting, but the relationships we build along the way endure.
