PhotoFest: Hands-On Landscape Photography Workshop with Erin Babnik

While all PhotoFest events are free, registration is required to attend. Due to limited capacity at each venue, entry is granted on a first-come, served basis.

Glazer’s Camera and Canon bring you Explorer of Light Erin Babnik for an evening landscape workshop in the Cascade mountains. We’ll meet at the picnic area of Gold Creek Pond and have limited loaner gear provided by Canon for you to try. The stunning views of the surrounding peaks give this serene alpine lake an incredibly accessible experience with the ADA-accessible 1-mile path around the lake. Bring your tripod, hiking shoes, and a jacket (it is the PNW after all) and learn from one of the best about how to compose and expose a dramatic landscape.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Erin Babnik is known internationally as a leading photographic artist, educator, author, and speaker. She is honored to be a Canon Explorer of Light and a member of the illustrious nature photography team Photo Cascadia. Erin’s dedication to the medium of photography evolved out of her years in art school and later through a doctoral education in the history of art. In her writing and public speaking, she explores topics with a unique blend of art historical, philosophical, and instructional ideas, an approach that has made her one of the most highly requested speakers among the current generation of landscape photographers.
