Will I be able to watch each class after the live session?

YES! All sessions will be recorded and available to watch by registered ticket holders. If you can't make it on some/all of our dates, you can still watch after the fact.

How do I get the Zoom link for the sessions?

Accepted Answer

Once you've purchased your registration, you'll receive updates from Eventbrite with information such as the event Zoom link and more detailed descriptions of the sessions. Be sure you have the Eventbrite app on your phone or tablet, and check your spam folder if you don't see registration emails.

Can I share the zoom link with my friends once I register?

We kindly ask that you do not share the Zoom link with anyone else who has not paid for registration. This is a fundraiser and paid registrations are the only way we're able to raise money. We encourage you to tell your friends to register so they can join!

Can I get college credit for this?

Accepted Answer

Sadly, no. Phish Studies is an independent organization made up of scholars and professors who work at many different colleges and universities, as well as non-academic professionals, and we are not associated with any single accredited, degree-granting university.

Can I get a professional development credit for this?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! If your job is related to any of the topics presented, or if your employer provides PD credits for any classes taken for personal enrichment, by all means, get after it.

Where do you all teach and can I take courses with you?

Some of us do teach at universities and do offer extension courses that you can take! Go to the "Who we are" section of phishstudies.net to learn more about the organizing committee for Phish Studies 101.

What does my ticket cost go toward?

We've organized this series as a fundraiser for Phish Studies. All organizers and presenters are donating their time, and all ticket revenue will cover essential costs like web hosting, future event/conference hosting, conference scholarships, and making past conference videos accessible online.

Who is hosting these events?

Accepted Answer

The Phish Studies Association is a group of scholars who have been working on Phish-related research, writing, and other academic endeavors since 2016. We hosted a symposium at the 2018 Gorge shows, plus professional academic conferences at Oregon State University in 2019 and 2024.

I can't go anymore, can I get a refund?

Bummer! Since this is a fundraiser, we hope that you might consider keeping your ticket purchase as a donation to Phish Studies. Plus, you'll be able to watch the sessions any time after they've happened live. Of course, if you would like a refund, we will be happy to accommodate.

I registered for single sessions but now I want to register for all three, what do I do?
