THE MEETUPFor our October meetup, we&#x27;re very excited to welcome Josh Kodroff to share his expertise on programming the cloud in TypeScript with Pulumi!Josh Kodroff is a Solutions Architect at Pulumi, and is lifelong Philadelphian. He&#x27;s worked in dev and ops roles since 2004 across enterprises, consultancies, and SaaS vendors with a recent emphasis on DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, cloud architecture, and distributed systems.Outside of work, Josh enjoys playing bass, cooking, meditation, and hiking in the Wissahickon.THE TALKHave you ever wondered if there&#x27;s a better way to automate resources in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud? How about services like GitHub, GitLab, New Relic, or Datadog?In this session, you&#x27;ll learn how to program the cloud in TypeScript with Pulumi, the open source infrastructure-as-code tool that allows you to use real programing languages to manage resources in any cloud!You&#x27;ll learn about the basics of how Pulumi and IaC works and see live demos that will show you how to use Pulumi in the real world.THE SPACEThis meetup is at <a href="https://indyhall.org/clubhouse/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Indy Hall’s Clubhouse</a> which includes lots of space to spread out, lots of high quality &amp; natural airflow, and a beautiful view of the city.To keep our community as safe as possible, we’re working within <a href="https://indyhall.org/health-safety/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Indy Hall’s current COVID policies</a> which include:<ul><li>In order to attend, you must register.</li><li>You must provide proof of full vaccination (including booster). Digital photos and paper cards are both accepted.</li><li>While full vaccination is required, mask wearing is welcome but optional in all indoor spaces.</li><li>If you discover that you have been exposed to COVID, you may not attend for 7 days after the exposure (regardless of symptoms).</li></ul>Our max capacity for these events at Indy Hall will be 40 people. Since space is limited, if you register and later decide not to attend, please cancel your RSVP to make room for someone else.Approx 24 hours before the event, all RSVPd attendees will receive specific instructions for building access.
