Pharmacy 101

Mayo Clinic

This program will provide general information about pharmacy school, pharmacy residency and careers in pharmacy. Participants will be provided with the following information (including but not limited to):

Information on preparing for pharmacy school in high school or college, guidance on financial aid, and choosing volunteering opportunities
</LI>
<LI>
Information on pharmacy post-graduate training including programs available at Mayo Clinic
</LI>
<LI>
Information on diverse pharmacy career paths (specialist practice, community and institutional pharmacy, administrative)
</LI>
<LI>
Question and Answer panel with current clinical pharmacy practitioners and trainees
</LI>
</UL>
Target audience includes: high school juniors and seniors, undergraduate college students and pre-pharmacy students. 
This program is free and open to the public. Event registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.
Dress Code: Casual
 
Location: Mayo Clinic Florida Campus, Cannaday Building, Kinne Auditorium
