A Performance in the Catacombs
Phantom Waves is an innovative music series crafted for the distinctive acoustic spaces of Green-Wood’s Historic Chapel and Catacombs. Headlined by musicians making waves with experimental approaches to voice, instrumentation, and composition, the series offers immersive sonic journeys that blur the line between the living and the spectral. The 2024 series is curated by acclaimed performer Gelsey Bell, recognized by The New York Times as “one of New York’s most adventurous musicians.”
A vocalist and composer, Odeya Nini embodies the vast spirit of the voice. A manifestation of dynamic vocal sound, the evening will explore resonance in its many forms, as it relates to the physical space, the body within, and the human connections between us.

Before Purchasing Your Ticket, Please Note:
- Be On Time! There is no late entry to this performance.
- This performance takes place in the Catacombs.
- Where To Go: Contactless check-in ONLY takes place at the Gothic Arch near the Main Entrance on Fifth Avenue and 25th Street (500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232). No paper or e-tickets will be necessary, attendees will be checked in by name.
- For Your Comfort and Safety: We strongly encourage attendees to wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the space as it can be chillier inside the Catacombs than outside.
- Please note that the Catacombs is a historic structure with steep steps and uneven ground, and is not ADA compliant.
- Transportation to and from the Catacombs is provided by Green-Wood’s trolley. You will not be allowed to walk to and from the Catacombs.
- The Green-Wood trolley is fully accessible and ADA compliant. In order to accommodate a wheelchair or other mobility aids on the trolley, arrangements must be made in advance. Please call 718-210-3080, ext. 1 or email events@green-wood.com.
- 6:30pm Performance: Arrive at the Main Entrance for check-in no later than 6:15pm for transportation to the Catacombs.
- 8:30pm Performance: Arrive at the Main Entrance for check-in no later than 8:15pm for transportation to the Catacombs.
- Further information about arrival and concert notes will be sent in advance to attendees.
- Ticket sales are final. No exchanges or refunds unless the concert is canceled.
