WE RISE 2022: BY US, FOR USWE RISE 2022: BY US, FOR US is a series of community-led events that support health and healing  across Los Angeles County. A collaborative impact initiative, WE RISE 2022 invests in local organizations, artists and leaders to strengthen community wellbeing. Throughout Mental Health Awareness Month in May, community partners provide access to resources and opportunities for connection through art installations, cultural experiences and other community engagement projects. As the ripple effects of the pandemic, social injustice and global pressures continue, WE RISE 2022 emphasizes positive programming that connect youth and those who love them, while amplifying our collective strength. WE RISE TOGETHER.Originally incubated at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and now in its fifth year, WE RISE 2022 is evolving into a grassroots, community-driven initiative that enjoys widespread support from public and private funding partners. WE RISE is the signature experience of the broader WHY WE RISE public education campaign, which is part of a national movement to transform the mental health system and expand access to resources, supporting the wellbeing of individuals and communities through community-led initiatives.For more information, visitwerise.la.
