Photography Painting Tintype
Organized around the theme PERSIST, the exhibition brings together four parallel presentations: three exhibitions forming a central trifecta, alongside a group show asserting art and culture’s enduring importance. Centered on portraiture, through the democratized process of tintype and photography in dialogue with painting and mixed media, the works consider democracy and war as intertwined conditions shaping human experience. Through painting, photography, and tintype, the exhibition returns to the individual as both subject and participant, suggesting the ongoing choice to sustain an open society.
