An evening of unusual, multidisciplinary performance, curated and hosted by artist Mark Jeffery. Performance Test Kitchen emphasizes new projects, and includes a community dinner with a social hour following the performances for participants and guests to mingle and share feedback.This event includes short works by artists Aram Atamian, Gabriel Chalfin-Piney, Mati Esther Engel, Maryam Faridani, Erica Gressman, Li-Ming Hu, Kirsten Ihns, Caroline Joy, SUNGJAE LEE, Kyra Lehman, Post Consumer Material, and Sila Ulug. MARK JEFFERY<a href="http://www.markjefferyartist.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mark Jeffery</a> is a Chicago-based artist, curator, and associate professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Jeffery develops unconventional collaborations with artists, choreographers, curators, dancers, scholars, and writers. He co-founded the language, performance, and technology collective Anatomical Theatres of Mixed Reality (<a href="http://atom-r.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ATOM-r</a>), organizes the triennial <a href="http://www.in-time-performance.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">IN&gt;TIME </a>performance festival, and has performed and exhibited works internationally.Photo: Nasim Aghdam video still (left) and Maryam Faridani image still(right).
