Smoking outdoors and in designated smoking areas/terraces courtyards is legal in Hungary.  Smoking indoors, including in pubs and bars, is illegal.

Dogs are welcome in most bars in Budapest. However, late at night, the bars and clubs are very crowded and busy, it really isn't the best place for a dog. They will get hot, it's loud, their paws will get stepped on.  By law you can bring your service dog anywhere.

What if I am late?

If you are late, you can try to WhatsApp the manager + 36 70 318 3011and see if he can connect you with the group. Otherwise, you can swap the ticket free of charge and join the next available tour.  If you are more than 10mins late you will miss the group at the meeting point.

How can I get home late at night?

Budapest has an excellent night bus service. Tram 4/6 runs through the night. The metro does not run at night. Taxi is available. Download the Bolt/Uber/Fö taxi apps.  Our guides can also assist you in calling a taxi home.
