ABOUT MICHAEL PALADINI, FOUNDER, PENELOPE BOURBON
Michael Paladini is the founder of Penelope Bourbon and Vice President of Strategy at MGP Ingredients, Inc. In his role, Paladini assists the team’s go-to-market strategy, including sales and marketing initiatives, as well as product development.
Prior to launching Penelope in 2018, Paladini founded Bear Mattress with his brother, which his brother now runs. In 2019, Bear Mattress was ranked #7 on Inc. Magazine’s fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. Before that, Mike spent 10 years working in various leadership positions with some of the fastest growing software companies in the world including salesforce.com, Buddy Media, SmartRecruiters and Dynamic Signal. In 2023, Penelope Bourbon was acquired by MGP Ingredients, Inc.
Mike attended Siena College where he earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science. He currently resides in Rumson, New Jersey with his wife, Kerry, 5 year old daughter, Penelope, for whom the brand is named, and 2 year old son, Henry.
ABOUT DANNY POLISE, MASTER BLENDER, PENELOPE BOURBON
Danny co-founded Penelope Bourbon in 2018. He currently is responsible for all blending operations and product development. Prior to Penelope, Danny was involved in engineering and operations of various businesses. He currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and three children.
