Erica O’Neal, Owner and pelvic floor physical therapist at Trailhead Physical Therapy and Wellness, will be joining us for a pelvic floor and running workshop. Trailhead therapists specialize in pelvic floor therapy and love helping runners feel strong, confident, and supported in their bodies — whether you’re returning postpartum, managing symptoms, or simply wanting to run without discomfort or worry.
In this workshop, we’ll cover the basics of the pelvic floor, review helpful anatomy, and talk about how the pelvic floor works together with the core, hips, breathing system, and nervous system to support running. We’ll also discuss common concerns runners experience like leaking, pressure, heaviness, hip pain, or feeling disconnected from your core.
Most importantly, you’ll start to identify what YOUR body might need to feel better while running, along with simple, practical strategies to get started.
Our goal is to help you feel more informed, empowered, and confident taking the next steps in your running journey.
