Overview

Delve into an ancient skill known as peg loom weaving and create a cozy wool seat cushion.

Colors of the Night Sky is a one-day workshop where you will learn how to use a peg loom, an ancient form of weaving, and create a cozy wool seat cushion. There are two options to choose from colorwise - Milky Way or Northern Lights. Use of a peg loom, tools, and all fibers needed are included in the workshop cost.

No experience necessary.

About the instructor:

Margaret B. Russell is a self-taught handweaver with over 40 years of experience, a weaving teacher for close to 30 years, and a lifetime appreciation of making items by hand. She grew up in a home where, what could be handmade, was handmade. From clothing to furnishings, her parents were constant examples that spoke to the pure satisfaction of making something, anything yourself.
