Born in Texas and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Ron brings the resilience and tenacity he learned under his drill sergeant father's roof to everything he does. With a rich background that spans various states like Mississippi, Arkansas, New Orleans, and Indianapolis, Ron's passion for meteorology began in his youth while discussing weather patterns with his neighbor, a National Weather Service employee.
Currently, a proud member of the American Meteorological Society and a holder of the coveted AMS seal, Ron's contributions to meteorology are both recognized and appreciated. Beyond his professional pursuits, Ron is an avid cook and adventurer. Whether he's running for charity on a Saturday morning, exploring local parks and museums with his family, or tackling the challenging hills of Pennsylvania on his bike, Ron embraces life with enthusiasm and energy.
