Join us for the launch of <a href="https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/research/pedru" title="https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/research/pedru" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">PEDRU</a> – the Plymouth Exploration and Discovery Research Unit.We're delighted to welcome Preet Chandi MBE, PEDRU Ambassador, who will deliver a keynote address sharing insights from her record-breaking polar expeditions and the mindset required to push beyond perceived limits.Jon Rhodes and Alastair Smith (School of Psychology) will also introduce the foundational research behind PEDRU, discussing the psychology of exploration and strategies for environmental simulation research at the University of Plymouth.Time: 09:30 – 12:00 on Thursday 30th July 2026Place: The Levinsky Room (RLB 309), Level 3, Roland Levinsky Building, University of Plymouth.
