Important Course Information

• Students must complete a website based pre-course self-assessment before attending class
• Website: www.heart.org/eccstudent
• Enter code: pals15
• After completing, please print your score sheet
• This is required to obtain a PALS card

Required Text

• American Heart Association (AHA) requires the PALS Provider Manual, version 2015, be used before, during and after the course
• It can be purchased at the Laerdal website: www.laerdal.com
• AHA has adopted an "open source" policy for exams, allowing you to use the manual during the exam.
