Pedagogy and Practice dives deeper into what it means to evaluate, design, and teach a curriculum that encourages academic success of Indigenous students.

This workshop continues the journey of culturally sustaining work by helping participants build the necessary skills to make a transformative difference in the classroom. The first workshop in this series, "Supporting Native Students" began the journey of supporting Native students in the educational system. Pedagogy and Practice moves the conversation to developing and evaluating curriculum and practice. Join Dr. Chelsea Mead and Megan Heutmaker to learn more about how to evaluate educational materials with a critical lens. Pedagogy and Practice goes further to explore how to design and implement classroom content and create lessons that support Indigenous students.
