Peckham Coal Line Celebration

Thanks to you the Peckham Coal Line is happening. Come and celebrate and hear more about next steps. This marks the end of the crowdfunded feasibility process and will include all the latest news about what is happening to build the Coal Line and when, and how much it will cost. There will be music, talks from those involved and those who are supporting the project, the Coal Line scale model, latest images and more.

Due to much demand, the event will now be spread across two venues:

7-9pm in the Old Waiting Room - There will be a drop in exhibition of the Peckham Coal Line feasibility study and a chance to see in this historic building. There will also be an exhibition of historical local photographs from Chris Scales of the Peckham Society as well. The venue holds 100 people and there may be a queue.

7.30pm and 8.30pm in the CLF Cafe at the Bussey Building- There will be a talk about the next steps of the Peckham Coal Line. There is a bar and a chance to chat with the team.

The venues are very close and maps will be provided on the day.

About the venues:
-Currently the Old Waiting Rooms is not wheelchair accessible and it has uneven floors - so please wear sensible footwear. Please also note there are no WCs here. A donation will be made from this event towards future plans to develop these things.
-The CLF Cafe in the Bussey Building does have a lift access from the B Block stairwell of the building. Toilets and a bar will be available as well.
