Overview

Get unstuck on something that matters in your business.

Join us at PEC Collab Lab

PEC Collab-Lab is a new kind of business event where you show up with a real problem and leave with a plan, with help from smart, thoughtful people outside your usual circle.

What’s the thing in your business you keep meaning to deal with but never quite get to?

An idea you want to test. A problem you keep circling. A process that isn’t working. A gap you’ll fix when things “slow down.”

On Monday, May 11, a small group of PEC business owners and professionals will spend three focused hours working through challenges like these together.

This is not networking for the sake of networking. And it’s not a morning of people talking at you.

PEC Collab Lab is a practical working session where you’ll get:

  • Time to work on a real challenge, idea, or opportunity
  • Practical creative thinking tools you can bring back to your business
  • Useful input from people outside your usual circle
  • Clear next steps you can actually act on
  • Real connections that go beyond small talk

Running a business can be exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. We’re making decisions on the fly, wearing too many hats, and trying to solve problems without enough time or space to think. This event is meant to give you that space, time, and useful tools with like-minded people in the room who understand your reality.

What makes this different

You won’t be listening to people talk at you or making awkward conversation over name tags. You’ll be working on your own business, hearing how other people think through challenges, and getting ideas you probably wouldn’t come up with on your own in the middle of a busy week.

Sometimes that’s all it takes. A bit of structure, a few smart people, and a few hours away from the usual noise.

The morning

  • 8:30 am – Coffee, breakfast sandwiches from Luso Bites, and a chance to settle in
  • 9:00 am – Welcome and how the morning will work
  • 9:15 am – Listen to a few local entrepreneur stories to get ideas flowing
  • 9:45 am – Learn simple tools to help you solve problems more creatively
  • 10:00 am – Guided working session on your business challenge
  • 11:00 am – Regroup, share ideas, sharpen next steps, and spot possible collaborations
  • 12:00 pm – Wrap up

Pricing

Early bird: $60 + HST (until April 24)
After April 24: $75 + HST

This event is in partnership with The County Economic Development Team.
