Join the University of California Master Food Preservers for Pear-fection, the first class in our two-part pear series.

In this free, live online class, you’ll learn how to safely preserve pears using two research-based recipes:

  • Spiced Pears: a perfect addition to autumn menus
  • Pear Leather: a healthy treat for lunch boxes

No experience needed. We’ll teach you everything step by step.
No supplies required. Just come ready to learn.
Each class is independent—attend one or both, you’ll learn different techniques each time.

All UC Master Food Preserver classes follow USDA- and UC-approved guidelines for safe home food preservation. Whether you are brand new or experienced, you’ll gain tips and recipes to enjoy pears all year.
